Sunday the 13th of September saw a Meet held for Matthew Haggerty to say goodbye towards his Depature to Afghanistan Later in the month.

The meet was organised for 6pm at Lidls carpark in Tidworth with PIH holding the meet. The usual lot arrived and parked the cars accordingly with one or two cars parked at the bottom…The meet really didnt look promising as cars were not turning up and the time was passing on. 6.30-6.45 saw the rest of the crowd come piling in and filling the top of the carpark. By half 7 the tunes were banging voices were laughing and by the looks of things everyone was having a great time!!

Pih and myself are pleased with the amount that turned up last night as i know how much it means to zowie and matt to see other people enjoying themselves in their presence.

The rest of the night was more enough the same with the consistency of banter keeping at a top level.

HIT BY SURPRISE Matthew Haggerty was taken hostage by PIH & closest friends and taped up to a Lampost before being locked in the boot of a car. ( See Pictures Below in Full View )

Dear Reader, After Schwabbies suggestion of Opie Oils, i have looked through there site and registered the club with them, as far as i can see all you will need to do to order is just open an account with them on the site & put it that your part of piston cruisers on the registration form, once doing so you will receive all the discounts which they offer to car clubs. I have also opted when filling out the club registration to have advise & questions answered on the forums by one of there staff aka Oilman who has registered on our forums. well this was another good hit for all of the local community - we have ever growing events for piston performance this show had a lot more going on and with the weather keeping fairly well we had a good turn out - sadly the turn out was not record breaking but was a great turn out for the day Thanks for all of piston cruisers for taking these photos.

Trojan International Presents Piston Performance in association with Piston Cruisers

Time : 3.30pm entry for clubs 5.00pm public

This time we are making Piston Performance Bigger & Better than before Lights should now be working for the next show, show and shine has been re-designed to give a more fair way of finding who’s car is the best, more things happening during the show, Trade stands, Sound Off Done by a Audio Company (Company TBC), Show Girls from Twisted Bliss. A DJ will be playing some of the Top tracks during the day also giving up to date information on what times what events will be happening during the day.

Photos and review of the day will be sent to all the modified Car magazines.

Agenda for the day :-
4:30 : Drift Crew Display
6:00 : Cat n Mouse
6:30 : Tug Of War
7:00 : Drift Demo - Drifting within inches of craig lying on track
7:25 : Burn Out Competition
8:00 : Ramp Rollover
8:30 : Fastest Lap
9:00 : Babe of the Show
9:25 : Track use
10:00 : Everyone Out.

Show & Shine : We have changed the way that show & shine is to be done at this show, this time we will be choosing the Top 10 cars just as before but between 5pm - 6pm the top 10 car owners will be asked to move their car over to the designated area where people will be able to place there vote for the car.

Votes will be done a new way as well instead of the old shouting yes or no for the car we have now decided it is best to give everyone who comes in the gate a voting slip, this slip will be good for 1 vote. all you will need to do is go over to the Top 10 cars designated area, choose the car you like the best, write down the Number ( 1 - 10 will be wrote on the car ) for the car & Registration Plate then place the vote into the box. after 8pm the votes will be counted and the winner will be announced.

Track Use : before going on the track you will be asked to sign a disclaimer this will be located in the Piston cruiser’s Gazebo opposite the track gate.

Well at the 2nd Official Piston Performance Show 2008! We have had a great turn out but also we had the echo turn up! go ahead and check out some of the action as well as an interview from the Owner of Piston Cruisers Chris Dacombe. 

Well this month we have had an explosive start to the year with a great new show brought to you by your very own piston cruisers, we have had a great turn out and are working on the next show already!! with around 1000 people turning out at this show we are hoping to double numbers as we put on an event better show, this show had a ramp roll over, show and shine, drifters and alot more!
